Fly-fishing for Bass in the South of England is becoming the most exciting method for catching this hard fighting species. Traditionally found in the warm Southern waters of the UK, the hard fighting Sea Bass can be located near shorelines and coastal areas, outcrops and shingle flats. The fish can be so close inshore that you would actually miss them if you used traditional methods of beach-casting.
Early mornings and late evenings is when Bass fishing comes into it's own, and fishing is from the shoreline and surf. This is one of the most exciting forms of fly-fishing, and Justin, having spent years wading every gravel pit, sand bank and estuary to locate the bass and mackerel running channels, is a leading expert.
