Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, in the heart of the High Weald on the Kent and Sussex border, it is the largest stretch of open water in South East England, and is justifiably famous as a fishery, with both rainbows and indigenous brownies. Bewl is a truly adventurous day out. We will be out in the motor-boats for the day on this spectacular water. A very different type of fly fishing - we are happy to tell you all of our reservoir fishing secrets! When we were putting our itinerary together, we considered quite a few 'big' waters, but at the end of the day there was only one real contender. Bewl has it all - natural beauty, a huge expanse of water to choose from, and we think some of the hardest fighting fish in southern England. Chris's arm is still aching from the 3 pounder last week! A note for those planning a trip in the winter - Bewl is closed between mid November and the end of March. Our alternative big water is the lovely Powdermill reservoir.
