Lakedown fishery is 26 acres of fabulous fishing in the beautiful Wealden Valley area of Sussex.
Designed
and created by The Who's legendary singer Roger Daltrey, who is often
to be seen at the fishery, Lakedown's four lakes provide a wide variety
of wonderful and challenging fly fishing in one of Sussex's most scenic
valleys.
There is so much water to cover, a day hardly
does it justice. The fishery has four lakes, each with it's own
character. All of the lakes hold specimen sized fish, and there is also
a good head of wild brownies ranging from 8oz to 3lb. Our standard
weekly package covers three of the lakes, which are shown on the photos
on this page and the fishing home page. There is a separate permit
charge for the top 'big fish' lake, where the minimum size of the trout
is 4ib. This can be added on to your itinerary package if you require,
or simply purchased on the day. We recommend this fishery very
highly as part of your week's stay with us. Hey, you might even meet a
true rock legend at the same time!
