The following terms & conditions apply to all members of the party on whose behalf the booking is made.
CONTRACT
The Company UK Country Holidays Ltd are the owners (“the Owner”) of the
holiday let accommodation (“the Property”). The Contract is entered
into at the time the booking is confirmed and paid for, and is subject
to these terms and conditions, made between the Owner and the hirer of
the property (“the Hirer”)
PRICES
We reserve the right to amend our prices at any time before you book.
Once you have booked, the price of your trip is fully guaranteed &
will not change.
BOOKING
Availability queries and bookings should be made directly to UK Country
Holidays Ltd by email, in writing or by telephone. All contact details
are on the website www.ukcountry-holidays.co.uk
CONFIRMATION INVOICE
When we have agreed your reservation dates and details, we will issue a
Booking Form and Confirmation Invoice. Check the details & raise
any queries immediately.
PAYMENT
Unless otherwise specified on the Confirmation Invoice payment should be made in full at the time of booking.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES
Unless previously agreed, the week's holiday will run from Saturday to
Saturday. For a weekly stay, unless special arrangements have been made guests are not
expected to arrive before 1.00 pm in the afternoon and they are
expected to leave around 11.00 am on the day of their departure. This
is so that we can make the cottage ready for our next guests.
CANCELLATION
Any cancellation must be sent to us in writing by the Hirer named on
the booking form. The effective date of cancellation will be the date
that the written notification is received. In the event of cancellation
by you, for whatever reason, the following scale of charges is payable
by you: Prior to 90 days 50% of total cost. 89-0 days 100% of total
cost.
If we successfully re-sell the dates of your original booking, you will
be refunded in full minus 10% for admin and bank costs. BROCHURE AND WEBSITE DETAILS Every
care is taken when compiling website, brochure & promotional
material to ensure the information is correct. However we are unable to
accept liability when circumstances beyond our control result in the
facilities described being altered or withdrawn.
ACCOMMODATION
'Old Cottage', owned by UK Country Holidays Ltd is let as holiday
accommodation, or short stay accommodation and does not create a
Landlord and Tenant relationship within the meaning of the Rent Acts.
OCCUPANCY
The Hirer shall be entitled to occupy the Property from 1.00pm on the
day of arrival and must vacate the Property by 11.00am on the day of
departure, unless there has been prior agreement to the contrary with
the Owner. For one week's booking, and unless agreed otherwise, the
occupancy shall be from Saturday to Saturday.
LIABILITY
The Owner will not accept any responsibility for the personal
belongings of the Hirer, or the Hirer's motor car and it is the
responsibility of the Hirer to arrange appropriate insurance in respect
of these items.
HIRER RESPONSIBILITIES
The Hirer is responsible for the cottage during their period of rental
and is expected to take reasonable care of it. All equipment and
utensils must be left clean and tidy at the end of the hire period.
Please leave your accommodation in the same state of cleanliness,
general repair and the order in which it was found. Please inform us of
any damages, breakages or equipment failures. The Hirer agrees to pay
for any damages, breakages, additional cleaning, or loss of cottage
property, such as keys.
CANCELLATION BY UK COUNTRY HOLIDAYS LIMITED
UK Country Holidays Ltd reserves the right to cancel your booking in
which case we will offer an alternative booking of equivalent standard
or a full refund.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE
Cancellation insurance is not compulsory, but we do recommend such
insurance cover to protect the Hirer against the cancellation penalties.
RIGHT OF ENTRY
The Owner shall be allowed the right of entry to the Property at all
reasonable times for the purposes of inspection, or to carry out any
necessary repairs and maintenance.
PETS
No pets are allowed on the property without prior consent of UK Country Holidays Ltd.
REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE OCCUPANCY OF THE PROPERTY
Smoking is not permitted in the Property.
Children under 17 must be supervised by an adult.
Only those people noted on the booking form are allowed to occupy the
property. Any deviation to this, must be authorised in advance by the
Owners.
The Property must not be sub-let to other occupants, at any point during the period of the booking.
The number of occupants of the Property must not exceed the maximum number stated on the booking confirmation.
The Hirer shall take reasonable and proper care of the Property and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects.
The Hirer shall not carry out any activity, or make excessive noise in
the Property, or surrounding areas, which might cause a nuisance to the
Owner, or the occupiers of the adjoining Properties.
The
Hirer shall not enter buildings or storage areas at the adjoining
house. It is the Hirer's responsibility to make their children aware of
the potential dangers on the site, including areas of water, and to
make sure they are supervised at all times.
GIFT VOUCHERS
These are non refundable and non transferable.
CURTAILMENTS & LIABILITY
Neither UK Country Holidays Limited nor any person assisting it shall
be liable for the consequences of delays or restrictions from adverse
weather, obstructions, repairs or damage to navigational works,
flooding, shortage of water, industrial action, fuel-rationing,
shortages of or non-availability of fuel or any other cause and reserve
the right to restrict the activity if unusual or hazardous conditions
prevail. Neither UK Country Holidays Limited nor any person or company
assisting or collaborating with it shall be liable for death, personal
injury or illness.
Your contract with UK Country Holidays Limited is governed by English
Law and any dispute is to be settled in the English Courts.
